Pandemic Loops

PANDEMIC LOOPS

Real Voices and stories of the Pandemic. A reflection of time, looping, stretching, repeating.

During lockdown, Solihull Council and Parrabbola collected stories from residents of Solihull about their experiences of the Pandemic. Birmingham based artist and filmmaker, Louis Price, has created a sound and video installation in direct response to this material. The work reflects on the looping, stretching and tightening of time during the pandemic, and the unifying impact that we all felt trying to overcome this and return to normal. Using the audio recordings of the residents in the piece itself, Pandemic Loops brings the voices together with newly filmed visual material to give the viewer the chance to reflect on their own perception of time spent during lockdown.
